Mermaid and Sailor

Sails crash and winds blow
Storms fury to the siren song the mermaids lament
Her song bewitches as his ship departs to the depths below

He sinks the sailor man with hands outstretched clutching for her hand as she smiles looking on. Down through green speckled blue his striped sailor top , bare feet in bellbottoms white, wide and voluminous filled with ocean pulling him down, down, down.

She follows and sings follows and smiles kissing life giving air into strained lungs watching through green speckled blue his striped sailor top, bare feet in bellbottoms white, wide and voluminous filled with ocean pulling him down, down, down.

Her friend and lover like her, flowing hair wild and free powerful woman tails swirl propel. Grab the sailors wrists and pull him down. Like them with tails slim then wide his bellbottoms ever spreading wider, wider, longer, longer following him down, down, down, Their tails like him wider, longer, streaming behind, down, down.

I thought it was a very beautiful poem, so I agreed to do a picture for it.(I hope I portrayed the poem correctly through the picture somewhat.>.<)

SIGH. I'm a bit sad because the picture didn't turn out the way I planned. As you can see, I completely failed on the background.T^T So I had to edit it out. Even so, Please enjoy!
