Personality:
Optimistic and an extrovert, Daisuke tries to find the best in everyone he meets. Although he isn't the smartest student and is average when it comes to his studies, he definitely makes a reliable friend. Daisuke isn’t strong physically, but he doesn't hesitate to stand up for what he believes is right. He likes to put others before himself and tries to help in any way he can, however, he’s rather dense and clumsy so it’s not guaranteed that he can make anything better. Just sayin'.

Family Background / History:
He comes from a close family of four, consisting of his father, mother, little sister and himself. Having an engineer father and a housewife mother, Daisuke’s family isn’t the wealthiest, but more middle-class and just well off.
Up until he applied to attend Rousseau Academy, Daisuke has been home schooled for most of his life in Hokkaido, Japan. As a kid, he suffered from frequent asthma attacks and his parents excessively worried about his condition. Thus, his mother wanted him to be home schooled so that his parents could carefully watch over him. Growing up, he missed out on sporty and physical activities other boys his age experienced because of his asthma. However, as he reached teen years, the asthma attacks lessened. Since his conditions exceptionally improved, his parents allowed him to apply to Rousseau Academy when he turned sixteen. He felt that attending the Academy would help to open up the boundaries of his world, which relates to why he’s so eager to meet new people.
Being close with his mother and spending most of his childhood at home, Daisuke has excellent culinary abilities. However, his biggest insecurity is his lack of masculinity. When he was fifteen years old, he actually confessed to his childhood friend that he liked her, but he was rejected because she had only thought of him as “a little sister.” From that day on, he then felt the need to become manlier, so that’s why he pushes himself sometimes—but usually he just ends up embarrassing himself in the end.
When he started high school, he was able to get along with most of the students and make friends. He also met another freshman named Jasmine, whom at first he wasn’t too fond of because of her violent behavior. But as he got to know her, he found out that he really liked her and they started dating. From then, Daisuke learned to be more comfortable about the way he was, knowing that the person he loved the most accepted him for just being him. However, Jasmine recently left the academy to pursue her dream career as a model, so they are currently maintaining a long distance relationship. Since then, Daisuke made a goal for himself to become a stronger man that she can return to when they are to be reunited again.
